XL Catlin has announced the appointment of Zoe Xie as client and distribution leader for Asia.
She will be responsible for delivering client and broker strategies specifically for the Singapore and Hong Kong businesses, based in Singapore.
Xie joins from Willis Towers Watson, where she most recently held the position of divisional director of broking for Asia. Prior to this, she held various positions, specifically in the property and casualty line of business with Willis Towers Watson in both Singapore and London.
“Asia is a high growth yet competitive and diverse market,” said Craig Langham, chief executive of XL Catlin’s Asia Pacific insurance business. “Whilst clients are facing increasingly complex risks, there have never been more opportunities for us to make a difference to our clients and brokers.”
“It’s therefore crucial to have the right expertise to not only help grow our book of business throughout the region but also to serve as a key liaison between our brokers and our diverse product portfolio.”
